We grow or glean as much of our food as possible, whether it is the egg for breakfast or the venison steak at dinner.

Paddy loves the livestock, rearing lambs, piglets and chicks in the spring and summer while his vegetable garden and greenhouse provide fresh ingredients with which Maggie prepares dinner only hours after being gathered.   

Maggie is happy to provide picnics for your day’s adventure.  

In good years, the bees buzz and the larder is full of marmalade, jams and honey and the garden overflows with veg.  We are always flattered if guests wish to buy any of our home produce.
